Overview

Geographically well situated on Tsing Yi Island with an approximate area of 100,000m², HUD Engineering provides 24-hour marine engineering services, including emergency repairs, maintenance and survey work, to over 30,000 sea-going vessels calling at Hong Kong each year. Our floating dock has the capability of docking vessels up to 300m x 41.50m in size, lifting capacity of 40,000 tonnes and travelling cranes capable of lifting 70 tonnes, deep water berths of up to 12.5m in draught, making it one of the largest and most accommodating dockyards in Hong Kong.

Our dockyard also houses well-equipped ISO 9001-2008 certified workshops dedicated to steel, pipe work, machinery, electrical and propeller repairs. To ensure the quality of repair works, all workshops are manned round-the-clock by highly-skilled engineers and craftsmen.

HUD is also the authorised service station for Blohm + Voss Simplex-Compact seals in the region.
